What do landscape gardeners do?
Landscape gardeners are a hands-on service that work on projects like hard and softscaping, to improve your outdoor areas.
Horticulture
Landscape gardeners will often have expertise in horticulture, or employ a dedicated horticulturist. Horticulture is the science of cultivating gardens with in-depth knowledge of plant selection and care.
A horticulturist can not only help you choose specific plant species for your soft landscaping project, but also advise you on where they should be planted in your garden. Landscape construction
Landscape construction is the nuts and bolts of bringing your landscaping design and plans to life. This includes the hard and softscaping of your project like, installing a swimming pool, paving, irrigation and water features, stonework, retaining walls and much more.

Landscape design

Project Management
Landscapers will often have a person to handle the project management for your job, especially if it is a large and complex project that utilises different trades.
The project manager will plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of the project so it all comes together - and acts as the middle person between you and all the trades who work on the job. They will also make sure materials are ordered on time so the job is not delayed, and is completed on time.
