“The fibreglass lining of our concrete pool started delaminating around the hydrostatic valve. We obtained four quotes to repair. Three contractors said it would be necessary to remove the entire lining. Their quotes varied from $15,500 to $32,500. Brad from Affordable Pool Care felt the area of delamination was restricted to an area less than 2 sq/m and if this was the case the area could be patched and the pool surface painted and he quoted $5,000 plus gst . The pool was emptied and we found that the rest of the lining was sound and the problem was restricted to the area visible. Brad patched the area and repainted the entire pool. We are very happy with the result.“
